Introduction to the community
After a time of transition, the Community has settled in its new home in Marston Green, a house of prayer where we seek to live the Religious Life and be a hub of welcome and hospitality. Many call in to talk over a cup of tea/coffee and some stay to share the worship with us. Others come for quiet days, or for some time of space in their busy lives, other for a few days of reflection and rest. Small groups come and there is a ministry of spiritual accompaniment. We are very aware how much we have downsized since out move from Alum Rock and have to be careful not to overbook the diary. It is true to say that the house is very well used and sometimes bulges at the seams! A very popular place is the “God Pod” in the garden.
We are seeking to develop a rhythm that nurtures the Religious Life as it adapts to creative change, builds our relationship with our Associates, and share something of our life with all who visit the house, praying that it is a place where God’s love is seen and felt.
